There is no licensing for real estate agents in Thailand. Saying you are an agent in any other country if you're not licensed is a criminal offence. In Thailand? Anyone can "claim" to be an agent. It doesn't mean they are.

Are we living in groundhog day?

And can you take advantage of it?

If the 20th century belonged to Europe and the USA, then perhaps the 21st century can belong to SE Asia and cities like Bangkok, can perform as well as cities like London, Paris and Frankfurt.
