Benjamarachutit School is a government secondary school in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Southern Thailand.
We are currently seeking 1 new teacher to come and join our teaching team for the academic year 2024-2025

We are preferably looking for individuals who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 but we are accepting application from all individuals provided the applicant understands should they be hired; they may be required to be tested on a weekly basis.

We have vacant position in the Lower English Programme(LEP).

We are seeking native/qualified non- native speaker to teach the Science course in LEP.

Lower English Programme Department: 1 Position
Position: Core Science M2/Grade 8 Teacher
Start Date: May 13, 2024
Job Description: To teach 16-20 periods of Science to grade 8 (M2) students aged 13-14 years old. This course focuses on teaching core Science( Biology, Earth Science, and Physics) . The number of periods also includes a club period and a homeroom meeting. Class sizes are no more than 30 students per class. A relevant degree in Science and other related fields is preferred, but any applicant with a keen interest and knowledge of teaching Science will be considered.

 All the classrooms are equipped with projectors, desktop PCs, speakers and each department have additional equipment available for the teachers to use.
 All departments have numerous resources for the subjects and an experienced, supportive team of teachers to assist.

Our Requirements
1. Bachelor (Honours) Degree and corresponding transcripts (from an accredited university)
2. Native English Speaker/ Non-native speaker with qualifications in subject related fields
3. Teaching experience preferred, but not required
4. TEFL, CELTA or similar qualification preferred but not required
5. Police Background Check
6. If non-native applying, must have one of the following; TOEIC (870+)/ IELTS (7.0+)/ TOEFL (90+)
7. A positive, hardworking attitude with a passion and interest in teaching.
8. Be competent in designing dynamic lessons and creating stimulating supplementary materials and assessments.
9. Have good IT skills

So, what do we offer?
 We offer a starting salary of 34,000-42,000 baht per month (depending on qualifications and experience based on a criterion provided by the local education center).
 Start date of May 13, 2022
 We offer all our teachers basic health insurance (after a probationary period of 4 months)
 We prepare all the paperwork for the visa and work permit but payment is up to the teacher.
 Additionally, the school helps new teachers get set up with suitable accommodation, bank accounts, and anything else that you would need.
