Assistant Academic ManagerAs Westminster School of English continues to grow as a premium provider of high-quality IELTS courses, we wish to recruit a new member to its Academic Management team.
The Role
The role is challenging but very rewarding and offers an excellent opportunity for training and career growth. It consists of the following:
• Managing and advising a team of 40+ teachers of IELTS & Academic English
• Working alongside a Thai team of student services
• Organising marketing events
• Liaising with HR
• Overseeing academic programmes
• Recruiting and orienting new teachers
• Some teaching of IELTS
The Candidate
You will:
• Have some previous managerial experience in a fast-moving teaching environment
• Have excellent knowledge of effective language teaching methodology
• Be extremely professional in your approach to your work
• Have excellent people skills – be both friendly and authoritative
• Be able to communicate effectively with Thai colleagues
• Be able to multitask
• Be able to work under pressure
• Be able to problem-solve
• Be able to understand and manipulate spreadsheets
• Be able to liaise with other departments
