Potisarnpittayakorn School, Bangkok, -- a secondary school -- wishes to recruit a Japanese teacherto fill in the vacant position. The qualifications and requirements for the positions are below.
Qualifications:
- Native Japanese speaker;
- Bachelor’s degree of Arts in Japanese, Teaching Japanese as a second language / for foreigners, Education or equivalent or higher level related to
the teaching field or the vacant positions;
- Age not over than 40 years old;
- Japanese Competency Test Score (optional);
- Certified Teaching Profession License or Temporary Teaching Permit (if any);
- Valid visa and Work permit (if any);
- Having Teaching Experience (Teaching Experience will be an advantage);
- Ability to speak English will be an advantage;
- No criminal record.
Requirements and documents:
- CV or Resume;
- Recommendation letter or Cover letter;
- 10-minute teaching demonstration (free to design a topic related to the position or teaching field);
- Lesson plan for the teaching demonstration;
- Original passport and a scanned copy;
- Original work permit and a scanned copy (if any);
- Original degree, transcript and a set of scanned copies (Translation of degree and transcript needed in case that the originals are not in English);
- Original certification of TELF/ TESOL / ESL / CELTA and a scanned copy, or Teaching Profession License or Temporary Teaching Permit certified and issued by The Teachers' council of Thailand;
- Original Japanese Competency Test Score and a scanned copy
(if any, or in case of non-native speaker);
- 1.5” photograph taken at least six months (attach in the CV or submit as file);
- Health certificate issued by an authorised medical institute (after passing
an interview examination).
