British curriculum from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) leading to IGCSEs. Post
16 we adopt the IB (International Baccalaureate) Diploma Programme.
Job title : Part time Instrumental teacher
Job Aim: to teach 1:1 and small group private instrumental lessons across primary school.
Part time (2 or 3 day a week) vacancies are available for:

Job description :
● You are enthusiastic and passionate about teaching your instrument. demonstrate
● You have high levels of musicianship and knowledge of your specialist instrument
● You are willing to teach small groups and participate in extra-curricular ensembles,
across primary and secondary school.
● You have experience of taking pupils through recognised examinations and have
clear progression routes ensuring every pupil makes the progress they are capable
of.
● You understand the importance of building excellent relationships with pupils, parents
and schools.
● You have the ability to maintain high professional standards at all times including
excellent timekeeping, timesheet and register administration, clear and timely
communication with schools, parents and students.
● You regularly evaluate your own teaching and enjoy adapting your methods to suit
the individual needs of each pupil. You feel you are always learning.
● You are reliable and looking to join a close team.
● You are flexible and able to work occasional evenings and weekends where
necessary.
● Your friends would describe you as loyal, honest, hardworking and a pleasant person
to be around.
