We are currently hiring a NES Secondary Mathematics Homeroom Teacher to join our Kajonkietsuksa School in Phuket, Thailand, in our semester 2 (October 2024).

Ideal Candidates:
• Showing outstanding characteristics; energetic, compassionate, creative, and flexible.
• Showing a strong desire and passion to teach 12-18 years old children with mixed second-language abilities.
• Holding a mature attitude towards work and a growth mindset.
• Able to create a stimulating learning environment that is sensitive to students' psychosocial needs.
• Willing to make Phuket province home for a minimum of 1-2 years.
• Available to start as soon as possible, and to commit until March 2025 (the end of school academic year).

Requirements:
• An accredited Bachelor's degree in Education with a specialization in Mathematics, or equivalent.
• A university qualification is a minimum requirement for applicants under regulations set by the Thai Ministry of Education.
• Proven experience as a Secondary Mathematics Teacher.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:
• Teaching core subjects for different classes for 18-20 periods per week (depend on an individual timetable).
• Preparing classroom and course materials/lesson plans.
• Be responsible for examination and invigilating.
• Handling administrative tasks (i.e. grade students’ assessments, report, and etc.)
• Participating in the extra-curricular activities, school duties/activities assigned by school.

Base Salary Range: 45,000-52,000 THB
• The offer greatly varies depending on the applicant's qualifications and teaching assignments
• Upon a teaching assignment, there are potential additional incomes from extra lesson, homeroom allowance, and so on.
