IGCSE IT, Physics and Chemistry Teachers

Naypyitaw International Science Academy is seeking highly qualified and experienced candidates to join our school as IGCSE Physics, ICT and Chemistry Teachers. The successful candidates will be responsible for teaching and providing guidance to our students in the fields of Physics, ICT and Chemistry at the IGCSE level. These positions are for full-time employment.

Please note that the language of instruction is English, and applicants are expected to have a strong command of academic English - both spoken and written.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans and instructional materials for IGCSE Business Studies, Accounting and Economics courses.
- Teach the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum and prepare students for IGCSE examinations.
- Provide instruction in a variety of formats including lectures, discussions, and group projects.
- Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments, and papers.
- Keep accurate records of student grades, attendance, and performance.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and performance.
- Participate in departmental and school-wide meetings and professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to promote academic excellence.
Participate in professional development programs deemed appropriate by the school.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching relevant subjects (preferably at the IGCSE level).
- Strong knowledge of business and economics principles and practices.
- Familiarity with the Cambridge IGCSE curriculum and assessment is a plus.
- Ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans and teaching materials.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and administrators.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong command of academic English, both spoken and written.
