ABOUT US:

Established in 1995, Interkids Bilingual School (IBS) is one of the leading bilingual schools in Thailand that uses English-Thai-Chinese curriculum for students from preschool to secondary levels

As our community is growing, we are now hiring qualified Native English Speaking teachers to join our committed kindergarten and primary teams. We have two school campuses namely IBS Nimitmai campus and IBS Seri Thai campus

AVAILABLE POSITIONS

IBS Seri Thai Campus:

1) Kindergarten teachers K1-3 (student ages 3-5): teachers are responsible for the core subjects including Math, Science, English, Geography and etc.

2) Primary teachers: teachers are responsible to teach core subjects including Math, Science, English Language, and English Reading.

IBS Nimitmai Campus:

1) Kindergarten teachers (student ages 3-5): teachers are responsible to teach English Phonics, Reading, and English Conversation subjects
2) Primary teachers: teachers are responsible to teach English, Reading, and Science
3) Secondary teachers are responsible to teach English and Reading

EMPLOYMENT DETAILS

Qualifications & Requirements

1) Teachers (preferably) British, American, New Zealander, Australian, Canadian and South African nationality
2. European teachers with an excellent English Speaking skills are also welcome to apply
3) Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (preferably in Education) **MUST at least hold bachelor degree
4) A Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), CELTA or TESOL certificate (desirable)
5) Good computer and technological skills preferred
6) Be professional and able to adapt oneself to new environment
7) Willing to commit to 1-year employment contract (contract is renewable)
8) No commitment to any school/company
9) Applicants MUST be in Thailand and ready to start teaching

Responsibilities:

Successful applicants are expected to not only develop students’ academic learning but also help nurture children and teach team valuable life skills. Some of the responsibilities include:

- Create lessons in accordance with the course outline, provided by the school.
- Maintain classroom management with an average class size of 20-30 students, with co-teacher.
-Communicate with other teachers and the curriculum advisor, as well as parents about students’ progress and behaviour.
- Create a welcoming and inspiring atmosphere in the classroom.
- Checking of books, grading, tracking students' behaviours and etc.
- This is a full-time teaching position which starts from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm

- The salary of qualified Native English Speaking teacher ranges from 40,000-50,000 THB.
This is based on qualifications and teaching experience.
