IGCSE and A-Level Teachers (ICT and Chinese)

Suankularb Wittayalai Thonburi School is a government school that offers English Program and International Program (Cambridge Curriculum) to high school students in grades 7-12 (13 to 18 years old).

We are currently looking for qualified teachers for the following full-time positions:
a. 1 position in IGCSE and A-Level ICT (Starting NOW)
b. 1 position in IGCSE and A-Level Chinese (Starting from mid-June)

Working period: 1 academic year from the day you sign the contract until March 30, 2024, with an 11-month contract for the first year*.

👨🏼‍🏫 Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
2. Must have or currently take a TESOL or TEFL certificate and/or pass a Thai Culture Training course.
3. Must have an excellent command of the English language and good communication skills, or provide IELTS/TOEFL/TOEIC or CEFR level certificates.
4. Candidates with experience teaching IGCSE/AS-Level/A-Level will be given additional consideration.
5. Experienced in teaching for at least 1-3 years.
6. Passionate about teaching and youth development.
7. Punctual, enthusiastic, positive-thinking, and professional.
8. Currently living in Thailand and am ready to work during the specified period.
9. Responsible and flexible in work.
10. Salary negotiable (30,000 baht for bachelor's degree holders, 35,000 baht for master's degree holders).

👩🏻‍🏫 Responsibilities:
1. Conduct teaching to SKT students on both offline and online platforms (Google Classroom). Google Classroom training and professional development provided.
2. Maximum teacher periods are not more than 23 per week (50 minutes/period).
3. Class adviser/homeroom teacher.
4. Attend in-service training provided by the school or outside organizations.
5. Designated homeroom teacher for 1 classroom.
6. Weekly gate duty (1 hour per week).
7. A few weekend days will also be required for parent-teacher conferences and other school activities during the year.
8. Participate in student camps or faculty retreats as required.
9. Work hours are Monday to Friday, 07:45 - 16:00.
10. In the first year, if the teachers work for the school, they will get paid per hour. In the second year, all teachers are required to work during the 1-month summer break from mid-April to mid-May.
