NES Mathematics Teacher

The English Immersion Programme is seeking a qualified Mathematics teacher to join our team at Bangkok Christian College (BCC). As a Mathematics Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons that help our students develop their mathematical skills and understanding. You will also be responsible for monitoring student progress and providing feedback to help them succeed.Start date: May 2023
The position
• The starting salary for a teacher with all the requirements listed below is 70 000 THB pcm
• Annual performance based increments up to 3000 THB
• 40 000 THB on completion of one year contract
• At least 8 weeks paid holiday
• Work permit and visa will be processed and paid for on receipt of clean Non-B visa
• Health insurance
• Free lunches provided
Responsibilities:
• Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons that align with the MOE standards.
• Develop engaging activities and assessments that challenge and motivate students
• Monitor student progress and provide feedback to students and parents/guardians
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine Mathematics curriculum
• Participate in school-wide activities and events
Requirements:
• Native English speakers only from: UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and Ireland
• Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field (from an accredited University)
• Teaching certification
• At least one waiver left on their visa.
• Aged 60 or under
• At least two years experience teaching Mathematics at secondary level
• Strong understanding of Mathematics curriculum and instructional strategies
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Candidates need to be available for face to face interviews in person at BCC.
