Open Position 1 – EPLUS+ Program

Suankularb Wittayalai : English Program requires 1 full-time English and Social Studies teacher for a May 2023 start date. Join our team in historic Bangkok teaching bilingual M1-M3 (Grades 7-9) Thai male students. About the Job:
- Max. class load 18 periods per week exc homeroom duties.
- Class size: 30 male students aged 12-15.
- Salary 40,000 – 45,000 baht.
- School pays all work permit, visa, and government employee health insurance costs.
- 12 month Thai government school contract
- 2 annual vacations plus statutory government holidays.
- All offices and classrooms are air-conditioned.

The successful applicant will:
- Be NATIVE SPEAKER from UK, Ireland, Canada, USA, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa
- Have a university / college Bachelor's degree (BA, BSc, etc).
- Have an English teaching certificate such as CELTA
- Applicant MUST have at least two years teaching experience in Thailand, preferably in an EP program, international school or similar. Particular attention will be given to candidates who hold a Kurusapha permanent teaching license, a teaching license from your home country, or a degree in Education, English, Linguistics, etc.
- Ready to teach beyond ESL to include focused reading and writing, civics, economics, geography and health.
- Have at least 1 year experience teaching English at high school level.
- Be familiar with the Thai curriculum.
- Design a complete syllabus and curriculum with resource materials, goals and benchmarks
- Create effective formative assessments and exams, and develop engaging activities to supplement bookwork.
- Visit the school in person for interview and teaching demonstration in April 2023.

Open Position 2 – GATE Program

An English teacher is required for SK’s GATE program. This program focuses on communicative English, primarily listening and speaking. This is a full-time salaried position with a salary competitive with Bangkok government schools. All visa-related costs and requirement covered by the school. Applicants are expected to have a bachelor’s degree, TEFL certification and some teaching experience. This is a position that involves daily contact with 12-18 year old students. Energetic teachers will thrive in this position.

- Max. class load 24 periods per week.
- Class size: 36 male students aged 12-15.
- Salary 35-40,000
- School pays all work permit and half government employee health insurance costs.
- 12 month Thai government school contract
- 2 annual vacations plus statutory government holidays.
