Benjamarachutit School is a government secondary school in Nakhon Si Thammarat, Southern Thailand.
We are currently seeking 4 new teachers to come and join our teaching team for the new academic year 2023-2024.
We are preferably looking for individuals who have been vaccinated against COVID-19 but we are accepting application from all individuals provided the applicant understands should they be hired; they may be required to be tested on a weekly basis.
We have vacant positions in the Lower English Programme, Upper English Programme, Regular Programme and in the Science, Mathematics and Technology Programme.

We are seeking native/qualified non- native speakers to teach the following courses in these departments:
Lower English Programme Department: 1 Position
Position: NES Core English Teacher (M1)
Start date: May, 2023
Job Description: To teach 16-20 periods of English to grade 7 (students aged 12-13 years old). This course focuses on teaching and developing all four core English skills; Reading, Writing, Speaking and Listening. The number of periods also includes a club period and a homeroom meeting. Class sizes are no more than 30 students per class. A relevant degree in English language or literature related fields is preferred, but any applicant with a keen interest and knowledge of teaching English will be considered.

Upper English Programme Department: 1 Position
Position: Biology Teacher (M4-M6)
Start date: May, 2023
Job Description: To teach 20-22 periods of Biology to students aged 15-18 years old. The period amount also includes a club period and a homeroom meeting. Class sizes are no more than 30 students per class. A relevant degree in Biology or related fields in science is preferred, but any applicant with a keen interest and knowledge of teaching Bioilogy will be considered.

Regular Programme Department: 1 Position
Position: NES Speaking and Listening Teacher (M3)
Start Date: May, 2023
Job Description: To teach approximately 20-24 periods a week focusing on conversational English (listening and speaking skills) to 14–15-year-old students. The period amount also includes a club period and a homeroom meeting. Class sizes are no more than 40 students per class. A relevant degree in English language or literature related fields is preferred, but any applicant with a keen interest and knowledge of teaching English will be considered.

Science, Mathematics and Technology Programme Department: 1 Position
Position: NES English Language Teacher (M1-2)
Start date: May, 2023
Job Description: To teach 20-24 periods of English to students aged 12-14 years old. These courses include subjects such as Core English, Listening and Speaking & Reading and Writing. The period amount also includes a club period and a homeroom meeting. Class sizes are no more than 30 students per class. A relevant degree in English language or literature related fields is preferred, but any applicant with a keen interest and knowledge of teaching English will be considered.

 All the classrooms are equipped with projectors, desktop PCs, speakers and each department have additional equipment available for the teachers to use.
 All departments have numerous resources for the subjects and an experienced, supportive team of teachers to assist.

Our Requirements
1. Short introduction (Video)
2. Bachelor (Honours) Degree and corresponding transcripts (from an accredited university)
3. Native English Speaker/ Non-native speaker with qualifications in subject related fields
4. Teaching experience preferred, but not required
5. TEFL, CELTA or similar qualification preferred but not required
6. Police Background Check
7. If non-native applying, must have one of the following; TOEIC (870+)/ IELTS (7.0+)/ TOEFL (90+)
8. A positive, hardworking attitude with a passion and interest in teaching.
9. Be competent in designing dynamic lessons and creating stimulating supplementary materials and assessments.
10. Have good IT skills

So, what do we offer?
 We offer a starting salary of 34,000-42,000 baht per month (depending on qualifications and experience based on a criterion provided by the local education center).
 Start date of May, 2023
 We offer all our teachers basic health insurance (after a probationary period of 4 months)
 We prepare all the paperwork for the visa and work permit but payment is up to the teacher.
 Additionally, the school helps new teachers get set up with suitable accommodation, bank accounts, and anything else that you would need.
