Start Date: May 2023

Contract length: Expected 14 months. The contract will run until the end of June 2024 at which time it can be renewed for another year.

Location: Rayong, 2 hours drive from Bangkok.

Job Positions

Nursery Homeroom Teacher
• The nursery homeroom teacher will be the main teacher responsible for the nursery class (2-3 yrs. old).

Early Years 1 (EY1) Homeroom Teacher
• The EY1 homeroom teacher will be the main teacher responsible for the EY1 class (3-4 yrs. old).

Homeroom Teacher Responsibilities:
• The homeroom teachers teach a variety of subject to their class, including phonics, mathematics, art, PE, music and science.
• The homeroom teachers are expected to continually improve and develop the classroom environment and routines.
• The homeroom teachers write the weekly letter to the parents and are the point of contact for all matters related to their class.

Montessori Teacher:
• The Montessori will teach Montessori lessons to every class in the school.
Requirements:
• Certified Montessori educator
• Experience in Montessori education

General information:
• Applicants' English proficiency should be at a native speaker level.
• Working hours are from 8:00 to 16:00 (ready to work at 8:00).
• Lessons are 30 minutes.
• There are two teaching assistants present in each class.
• Non-teaching times are for following up on lessons, lesson planning and preparing materials.
• Ultimately you will do your own planning and writing plans for new learning activities; however, we can help you out in the first period by sharing previous plans. A strong list of topics and learning themes is provided.
• All teachers are required to participate in planning and delivering special activity days during the year. Each teacher is assigned as lead coordinators for one of the events.
• All teachers lead an After-School club on one afternoon per week. This is a 45-minute activity involving children from various age-groups, max size 20 children, teacher assistants are provided as needed.

The school will also give full assistance in obtaining a Non-B working visa and work permit. Visa fees are covered by the teacher, work permit fees are paid by the school. The school provides accident and health insurance.
