Administration Office Manager, Soi 31 Campus.

The Australian International school of Bangkok seeks a well-qualified and experienced full time Administration Office Manager for our Soi 31 Primary School campus.
The Administration Office Manager (AOM) will play a key role in the development of the Soi 31 campus by providing daily leadership and supervision of the Administration Office team to ensure an efficient, cohesive, customer orientated Administration office. The AOM will liaise with, and provide support to the Director and the School Development Manager.

Although essentially a managerial role it is also a “hands on” role as the AOM will assist Administration Officers with marketing, admissions, event organization and the operation of the administration office. It is expected that the AOM will provide advice on operational procedures and policies.

Essential Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Have excellent interpersonal and leadership skills to confidently lead and manage a team and build their confidence and trust.
• Ability to manage operational functions. Strong ability to plan and manage multiple projects. Ability to effectively manage conflict and competing priorities.
• Ability to problem-solve, analyse issues and make decisions based on school policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate with families from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
• Bi lingual in Thai and English to enable effective communication with staff, service providers and the parent community. Strong written English skills.
• Ability to manage confidential management matters.
• Strong computer proficiency, including competency with Word, Excel and the ability to learn how to use the Schools Management System.
• Understanding of HR processes, procedures and policies.
• A working understanding of Personal Data Privacy

Education:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.

Experience:
• A minimum of two to three years’ experience as a business or operations manager.
• A minimum of two to three years supervising staff (including, hiring, evaluation, performance management, etc.)
• Experience with office procedures and experience in a private school operation or a business of similar complexity is desirable.
