Astra Academy International School opened in September 2021 in the heart of Bangkok and is growing rapidly. It is a part of a group of schools with long established and highly respected reputations, and benefits from their experience and links in the wider community. We are currently looking for an experienced, talented and passionate additional Primary and Secondary Music teacher to join our team in August 2022. Successful applicants will be offered a two year renewable contract with competitive terms of employment and outstanding working conditions.
We welcome applications from the UK state and independent sector as well as from those already working internationally.
Required experience and qualifications
-Bachelor of Education Degree, or appropriate degree with UK PGCE, iPGCE or other teaching qualification giving QTS.
-Excellent working knowledge of teaching Music using the National Curriculum for England.
-Current / previous experience teaching CAIE IGCSE and / or A level courses.
Whilst not essential the following would be highly advantageous.
-Current / previous experience of working in an international school.
-Experience of / willingness to, teach a second subject.

Salary & Benefits provided by the School
-55,000-70,000 Thai baht per month (dependent on qualifications and experience)
