Learning Support Assistant (NES or Non-NES)


Main Responsibilities
Responsible for providing 1:1 support for individual pupils in and out of the classroom.
Responsible for escorting children with physical difficulties safely around the school.
Responsible for scribing work during lessons.
To have a flexible approach and be ready to support children across all key stages.
Responsible for planning and implementing 1:1 or group sessions with support.
Responsible to the class teacher during lessons in which they are supporting a student.
Will have experience of working with children with learning difficulties and knowledge of their range of needs.
Will have excellent communication skills to collaborate with teachers, parents.
Responsible for ensuring that the individual student they support receives guidance in lessons, or individual sessions, which scaffolds the pupils learning.
Promote and support school policies on pupil behaviour;
Promote social and emotional development of pupils;
Maintain confidentiality about home-school/pupil- teacher/ school work matters;
Qualifications / Requirements
Experience – a minimum of 1 year working in this/similar position and preferably in an international school environment
Qualified to work with/teach students
Education and licensing – Degree in Education, Psychology or related field
English Speaking (NES or NNES)
Satisfactory Thai Police Criminal Record check
Confirmation of identity (Driving License / Passport/National ID card). Satisfactory references
Verification of qualifications and work experience
