LOCATION: Curious Kind Kindergarten, Bangkok Thailand
HOURS: 8:00-14:00 Monday-Friday

Curious Kind Early Childhood Centre is a lovely boutique preschool that promotes caring and nurturing family atmosphere for all. We recognise children learn best when they are actively engaged in meaningful experiences; so, our planning is flexible to enable us to meet the needs
and interests of individual children, all the while supporting their curiosities, establishing positive relationships, and introduce a sense of democracy.

This is a permanent full-time opportunity in a lovely setting which focuses on children aged between 1.5 - 5.

Lead teacher role & responsibilities:
• Creating a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children
• Supervising and supporting children at all times
• Interacting warmly with children and parents
• Collaborating with colleagues on school projects and class projects
• Reflecting on your practice and daily routines and share ideas for improvement with your
group members
• Contribute to observations and the assessment of children’s learning and development
• Providing feedback and work in partnership with parents and carers, building and maintaining
relationships that encourage trust, open communication and involvement in school life
• To develop the core vision, with creativity and high standards at its heart
• To be the lead teacher for the school displaying expertise in a range of creative teaching
methodologies to address children’s early learning styles
• To be visionary and creative in the implementation of high standards and active learning
across the early years curriculum
• To develop and creatively expand the indoor and outdoor learning environment to ensure
opportunities for imaginary play and learning
• Lead the planning and the provision of a stimulating range of age-appropriate activities,
helping to ensure rooms are well-resourced and creatively set-up
• Ensure high quality and effective observations and assessment of children’s learning and
development, helping to ensure records are kept up-to-date, are of a high standard and are
shared effectively
• Providing feedback and work in partnership with teachers and key parents building and
maintaining relationships that encourage trust, open communication, and involvement in the
school
We’re looking for:
• Have a minimum of 5 years post qualification experience within a childcare setting
• Great passion for child development and a good working knowledge of the EYFS 0-5
• An organized, supportive personality
• Experience of working in a management role, mentoring and leading staff and leading by
example
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS
• Knowledge of child protection and safeguarding
• Knowledge and proven practical experience of implementing good quality learning
opportunities
• Ability to deliver a high standard of childcare
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work productively with pupils, colleagues,
parents and outside agencies
• Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills
• A fantastic understanding of how a preschool works
• Excellent communication skills and able to work effectively in a team
• A sense of humor, common sense and a “can do” attitude
• Strong attention to detail
