Grade 1 and 2 Primary Teachers
PostedThe English Program at Assumption College Primary Section (Bangkok) is seeking three qualified, lower primary school teachers from native English speaking countries to join our friendly, supportive and professional team. The positions available are:
- Primary Grade 1 Homeroom teachers (2 positions)
- Primary Grade 2 Homeroom teacher (1 position)
Applicants should have an ability to inspire young children and be a positive team player. All applicants must have a degree in education or a post graduate teaching certificate (PGCE or equivalent).
The positions are available to start from Saturday 14th March 2020, which is our Orientation Day for new teachers.
Grade 1 and 2 teachers will teach English, Mathematics, Science and Health to their own homeroom class. They will also be responsible for looking after the welfare of the students in their class.
The initial contract will be until the end of March 2021 and, subject to performance, the contract will be extended for an additional twelve months from that time.
The successful applicants will receive a monthly salary of 83,000 Baht, end of year bonus, health insurance and approximately eleven weeks paid holiday (in a full school year). EP class sizes are 20 students in Grade 1 and 25 students in Grades 2-6.

Please note that we are only seeking Australian, British, Irish, Canadian, American, New Zealand and South African nationals. Preference will be given to teachers who are currently teaching or who have recent teaching experience in primary schools located in these countries.
