Maneerat Kindergarten School

Compensation: 35k per month for a full academic year (12 months)

Fairly new school with a great vision, efficient work spaces, creative curriculum, and a friendly environment with helpful Thai colleagues.

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00 to 4:00. Classes start at 8:30 to 1:30, 4 classes a day. Lunch break from 11:30 to 12:30.

Main Classes: 8:30 to 11:30 - Anuban 1/1, 1/2, and 1/3 (3 to 4 year olds). 15 to 20 students per class accompanied by a Thai assistant teacher. You will see each class 5 days a week. The 5 hours a week really gives the teacher a lot of time, not only to work with the teaching material, but moreover, to develop a real relationship with the kids from each class. There aren't any other schools in the area that are doing things quite like this.

Secondary Classes: 12:30 to 1:30 - Anuban 2 and 3 (4 to 6 year olds). Anuban 2 has three classes, which will be split into two different groups. You will see one of those groups on Mondays and the other on Tuesdays. The Same schedule is used for Anuban 3, but on Wednesdays and Thursdays. With this set up, each group is seen just once a week. We mainly focus on phonics and light conversation in these classes.

Adult Class: 12:30 to 1:30 - This class meets once a week on Fridays and consists of teaching about 4 adult teachers at a time. We follow an elementary face2face book from Cambridge for this class. The students are currently on unit 1, so it is very basic. The teachers are lively and fun to work with. Sometimes we break away from the book and open up Google Translate and see where the conversation takes us.

Total teaching hours per week for all classes totals to 20 hours.

School will reimburse you for your visa, work permit, and visa extension upon completion of contract.

The city of Mueang Loei: smaller, but not too small and definitely not rural. It's one of the few places in Thailand that cools down in the winter months. It's surrounded by mountains and nature in every direction. There are plenty of bars, clubs, and Esan (north eastern food) restaurants. Also has Makro, Big C, Tesco Lotus, KFC and Pizza Company. Note: Diamond in the ruff.... one of the best craft beer bars in all of Thailand; Outlaw Brewing. This city is the perfect hub for weekend explorations to a myriad of natural parks and temples. Closest big cities would be Udon Thani and Khonkhan after that.

Requirements: 4 YEAR DEGREE / NATIVE ENGLISH SPEAKER - These requirements are non-negotiable.

If you meet these requirements and are interested in the position, please don't hesitate to contact us.
