All the latest deals and promotions from Thailand's TEFL course providers

SEE TEFL Chiang Mai - SEE TEFL up in Chiang Mai have been teaching a full-time 120-hour course for seven years and can boast over 600 graduates. They now offer a teacher training and paid internship opportunity twice a year to coincide with the two school semesters in Thailand.

The SEE TEFL internship program is a great way to experience Thailand as a paid teacher, but also ideal for those who aren't ready to commit to a 4-week TEFL course program or a teaching committment longer than five months. Internship includes pre-arrival classroom familiarization training, two weeks face-to-face classroom skills and cultural awareness induction training in Chiang Mai. Then a paid one-semester teaching job of four to five months in a rural or provincial Thai school.

Islandtefl.comIsland TEFL Thailand have been making some good connections. They have partnered with the University of San Diego (USD), Invasion Jobs in the U.K. and Oxford Seminars (with over 5,000 TEFL graduates a year) On this 125-hour program - which is taught by The USD faculty - not only are you getting a respected certificate but should you decide to further your teaching career, the USD TEFL offers you the chance to earn credits towards their online M.A in Education or TESOL programs.

The Island TEFL/USD course comes with a twice-a-year guaranteed job placement designed to coincide with the Thai school terms that begin in May and November. For the remaining 10 months of the year, Island TEFL offers a three-week in-house, 120-hour TEFL/TESOL in great Thailand locations such as Phuket. Koh Samui, Hua Hin, Bang Seray and Bangkok all with guaranteed job placement.

The program includes 35,000 baht a month salary. 70,000 THB completion bonus. Work Permit, insurance. & accommodation allowance. There are also placement programs for those who don't have a degree.

Text and Talk - One of Thailand's longest-established TEFL courses, Text and Talk offers a $95.00 discount off their regular course price if two people enrol on the course at the same time - so find a friend to study with you and you could be saving yourself some cash. Text and Talk has three locations in Bangkok, Chiang Mai and Khon Kaen.

TEFLPlus Phuket - TEFLPlus is celebrating its 30th year in the training industry. Chiang Mai University TEFL - The year has got off to a busy start at Chiang Mai University and to celebrate the new year, Chiang Mai University is offering couples applying for the February TEFL course a reduced fee of 35,000 Baht per person. That is a saving of 7,000 Baht per person (230 USD/130GBP).

UniTEFL Chiang Mai - UniTEFL recently acted as judges for the Annual Chiang Mai Municipalities Schools' Academic Competition. Students from across the district participated in speaking on selected topics, presentations and skits. UniTEFL are now preparing to organise summebr camps with various schools and as always, the TEFL alumni are invited to join in. These camps provide a rewarding opportunity to give something back to the local community.

UniTEFL are still accepting enrolments for their March 3rd course and the 120-hour program comes with 'free accommodation' plus you can save a further 3,000 baht off the course price just by mentioning ajarn.com. Accommodation is limited, so get in as soon as you can with your booking.

Samui TEFL - You may remember a competition for a free place on a course at Samui TEFL? Well, Robert Ross was the lucky winner, and he's currently busy with his course on Samui. Samui TEFL has a Facebook Group Page This group is for all past, present and potential future students. Feel free to ask each other questions, stay in touch after the course, post pics of your teaching and new surroundings and generally stay in touch!

For anyone that's considering the course, it's a great way to see what past and present groups are up to, with up to date pictures of teacher pracs and other activities, to help you make up your mind and see if it's the right course for you. AYC TESOL - AYC have been running TEFL courses in Thailand for over three years and they've had in the region of 300 graduates go through their teacher training programs, which are accredited by NFE-UK and InTESOL USA. The full-time TEFL course is currently 799 US Dollars (approx 24,000 baht)

AYC also runs one of the biggest teacher recruitment / placement programs in Thailand and currently employs over 200 teachers in schools all over Thailand. AYC offers teachers the chance to qualify for a job via the TEFL program and then go straight into the classroom. Take a look at the website for more info.

Chichester College - Steve, from the popular Chichester College TESOL Course in Bangkok, has written an excellent blog entry entitled, "How much Thai do I need to be able to speak?". This is the question on everyones lips when they first consider teaching English in Thailand and Steve's ever-friendly writing tone makes this piece a pleasure to read.

The Language Centre of Chanthaburi - LCC are offering a good promotion for couples and buddies. If you enrol on the course with another person, you will get the course for $599 instead of the regular price of $699 - so it's a saving of $200 for two people.This offer will be valid for the whole of 2014.
