Tongue Thai'd ~ Lesson 3

These commands can all be made to sound politer by adding a ‘kap’ or a ‘ka’ onto the end ( depending on whether you’re male or female ) A couple of other things to note : The Thai word for Go = Pai, but the sound of the consonant is half way between a /p/ and a /b/. In addition Thais have difficulty in differentiating between the /sh/ and /ch/ sounds in English. pronounce both of these sounds as /ch/.
