Always Remember the Golden Rule

This is a heartily reaction and support to the articles sent by the angel up in heaven (Mr. AOA) about the Filipino coordinators working here in Thailand. Thanks for giving some reminders and enlightenment to brighten up the heads of these poor and trying hard as in “TH” coordinators scattered in the land of smiles. Keep it up angel!

Yea! It’s really annoying to all of us knowing about the deeds of these “pinoy” coordinators out there. Do you know by heart what does COORDINATOR means? Well, if you happened to forget the meaning of it or for those of you who are first timers in this position, perhaps you should take a pause and research for the meaning of it. But for your time safe keeping, COORDINATOR or CO-ORDINATOR simply means someone who organizes the way people work together. Please remember that you are working for the school and for the parents. Your position has to deal with the teachers around you. You have to extend more understanding, flexibility, sympathy, and more importantly showing more concern to your teachers because they are the one who mould young minds. Have you ever imagined what would be the result to the precious little ones in school if you continue on displaying such bad acts and habits?

Teachers are destined to influence good character and respect especially giving excellent education and great skills to the younger one. Always bear in mind that parents entrust their kids to learn in school and dreaming for the child’s bright future. How can a child learn from his/her teacher properly if the teacher doesn’t get the right treatment and respect and good pay in school by these fishy coordinators and the administrators?

For those of you who are still experiencing this kind of treatment and situation, you should stop whining about it. Don’t waste your time, fight and act for what you think is right for the betterment of the school, children and for us all. If you can’t beat them then you are free to change your nook but you have to give them some lessons. Knock them down before you do. (hahaha, just kidding) And if you are afraid of doing it, then just leave it to God because vengeance is not ours. Ok mai? Always secure your original documents. It’s yours. You should stand tall and be smart as well in front of them. Don’t just nod your head and say AMEN, because they will really take advantages on you.

Finally, I’m appealing to all pinoy coordinators out there. Please just be fair. Always remember the golden rule. DO UNTO OTHERS WHAT YOU WANT OTHERS WOULD DO TO YOU. We are not in our own ground. We always get discriminated in some ways but we have to continue on exhibiting good examples and good faith. Let’s make use of our time treating our fellow countrymen fairly while we are still given the chance to stay here in the “Land of Smiles.”
