PETS Trang is a privately owned language school which was established in 1997.

Full time teachers are expected to possess a Degree, an RSA/Trinity College certificate and previous teaching experience.  The salary is 24,000 Baht/month.  

PETS will provide a work permit and 12 month visa for Full time teachers, for which the teacher must pay.  Other benefits include full medical cover, 15 Paid Holidays, 13 Thai National Holidays and up to 15000 Baht airfare home after completion of 1 years contract.  

Part time teachers must possess a TEFL certificate or have previous teaching experience.  The hourly rate is 225 - 250 Baht/hour.

Our main contract is with a Thai Primary School around the corner. But, the children come to us on a little bus and jump around in aircon.

The classes are split with another teacher and maximum per class is 10 students.  We like all our teachers and kids to have lots of fun and enjoy the hourly experience each week.

Contracted contact hours are maximum 24 but the average is 18-20 per week.  Teachers are required to maintain registers, write reports and certificates at the end of each course.

We also have private evening classes including 1-1 teenagers and adult conversation classes.

Trang is a quiet, exceptionally clean town, close to the beautiful beaches and islands of Krabi. You will be respected and cared for by managers, colleagues and locals alike as one of the few foreigners residing in Trang.
