Similar problems with my school

I too had a similar problem at the Ministry of Labor with my own complaint against my former school. They informed me that I had no case whatsoever due to the same section that Russell mentioned (What labour laws?, Postbox 28th February) Additionally, they would not help me to recover back-pay that the school clearly owed me. What recourse is left other than hiring a lawyer and pursuing your claim through the courts if the Ministry of Labor decides not to get involved?

Ajarn.com says - So it would seem from recent letters that when lodging complaints against a school to The Ministry of Labor, some teachers have been successful and others maybe haven't. Of course, this is rather what you come to expect here - no two days are ever the same. I think we'll draw a line under this particular debate rather than enter into a "yes it is, no it isn't" exchange. Thank you.

Jeff
